This wine has a predominance of cabernet (60%) blended with merlot (40%) with a palate of plum, chocolate and dark berries. It is a wine of great balance, with fine, dusty tannins, elegant fruit weight and a long finish. Drink now, or hold out until 2016.
Comments
Generous cassis and black olive bouquet; the palate is firm, but lively with ample fine-grained tannins and fine blueberry fruit on the finish. 91/100,

Nose
True to varietals from a warmer region, there are notes of mocha, plums, dark cherries and mulberries with a hint of rosemary herbaecousness adding interest.
Palate
Velvety ripe fruit glides across the tongue, tempered by firmish, fine dusty tannins and a bright acidity that adds crunch and texture. Flavours of chocolate, damson plums and dark berries. It shows an elegant fruit weight and a long finish, with all components very well balanced.
