This nebbiolo, a classic northern Italian varietal, is a very bright crimson colour showing cherry on the nose and palate and boasts a tight structure with an enduring finish of fine grained balanced tannins. Drink now or hold out until 2015.

Soil
Granitic loams, deep and free draining.

Harvest
Harvest was completed in April. The grapes were open tank fermented using Barolo-derived yeasts then airbag pressed. The wine was then left to age in old French barriques for 12 months, during which time it underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was racked prior to bottling.
